Independence Day... is it a happy day?

Posted by Michael Kelley on July 4, 2014 at 2:05 PM

Our country has been in existence for 238 years; today many families will gather around the grill and eat burgers and brats before shooting off fireworks. Take some time, though, and as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, think about the state our nation is in both morally before God and economically before man. The two are very much intertwined as Rabbi Jonathan Cahn describes in his study on the Shemitah year (Watch Video), that each of the major crashes during the last decade [2001, 2008], were each the result of God's judgment. The third and final Shemitah will be next year, 2015, and unless America repents, there may not be an America by the end of the third shaking next year. I suggest that you prayerfully read my article from last year on July 4th and consider the reaction of the German people during World War II. Do not overlook the silent pulpits and the silent churches when considering the cause of the holocaust. There is a holocaust much more terrible and grisly going on today.
