Silencing the Gossips

Posted by Michael Kelley on July 1, 2014 at 9:35 PM

There are many so-called Christian ministries today that seek to divide the Body of Christ, spreading much malicious disinformation. One certain teacher of God's Word whose ministry has been attacked numerous times by professing Christians is Dr. Chuck Missler, one of the greatest Bible teachers alive today and one of the most godly men that anyone could have the opportunity to learn from, having an outstanding résumé:

  • Received a Congressional appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy, then serving in the U.S. Air Force.
  • Upon leaving active duty, became Branch Chief of the Department of Guided Missiles at Lowry Air Force Base.
  • Received a Masters Degree in engineering from UCLA and a Ph.D. from Louisiana Baptist University.
  • Worked as a systems engineer at TRW, followed by a Senior Analyst position serving both the intelligence community and the Department of Defense.
  • Established the first international industrial computer network for the Ford Motor Company.
  • Served as a consultant for corporate acquisitions and has also participated in over one hundred business ventures as a principal, strategic advisor, or turnaround specialist.
  • Over the course of 30 years, he served on the Board of Directors of over a dozen public companies being the Chairman and CEO of six of them. His company became the contractor for the electronic subsystems of the B-2 Stealth Bomber.
  • Ultimately, Hal Lindsey persuaded him to make his "hobby" of studying the Bible into a full-time ministry, and Koinonia Institute was founded. Dr. Chuck Missler uses his engineering background to help many understand difficult passages as well as giving Christians solid ground that their faith in Christ and His Word can be placed upon.
But there is no satisfying some people; despite Dr. Missler's prestigious career, there is a lot of disinformation spread by many so-called "Christians" railing and attacking his character. They claim that he could only have such a prestigious career by being involved with and in the camp of the various Illuminati organizations, falsely labeling him as a freemason. The global elite, the Illuminati, the cult of Freemasonry are all certainly viable topics that Christians need to understand, but the key word is, "understand."

Lack of knowledge is dangerous, but so is a little bit of knowledge without discernment, and the latter is precisely the problem. Many make the terrible assumption that no true Christian can possibly be successful; this ignores the Lord Jesus Christ's message in His parable of the Wheat and Tares in Matthew 13, however.
Take time now to read:

Philippians 4:22; 1 Kings 19:9-14, 18, and Ezekiel 6:8-14

In Philippians 4:22, we find the startling message that God even had people in CAESAR’S own household who knew and worshipped Christ as Lord. CAESAR was the leader of the world at that time and was the very one torturing the early Christian church. Thus, claiming that Dr. Missler’s prestigious career makes him part of the New World Order is without Scriptural merit.

God always has His remnant in ALL classes of people, from the peasants to the kings. In the parable of the Wheat and Tares, the field is NOT the Church but the “field” is the “WORLD.” There are both WHEAT and TARES that are peasants, both WHEAT and TARES that are middle class, both WHEAT and TARES that are rich, and both WHEAT and TARES that are the nobility and rulers. Believers and unbelievers side by side growing until Christ returns. Based on the message of Philippians 4:22, there MAY even be true believers within even the Illuminati organizations such as the Bilderbergs, the CFR, and the Trilateral Commission, for God always has His remnant in Caesar’s household.

All the railing against Dr. Chuck Missler is nothing but gossip. Dr. Missler addressed the gossipers (though he mentions no names) at the following link, going into much more detail as to his own history: Christian Living, Choosing the Higher Road - Dr. Chuck Missler. I, however, have no affiliation with Dr. Missler, so I gladly will tell of one such "ministry" to beware of that has slandered Dr. Missler: The Fitzpatrick Informer Blog.

Pastor Mike Hoggard has also spoken against Dr. Chuck Missler for endorsing and being on the board for the new translation, the International Standard Version (ISV). Pastor Mike Hoggard is an outspoken KJV-Onlyist, ignoring the way that Dr. Chuck Missler uses the ISV. The video below is an excellent teaching by Dr. Chuck Missler in which he gives practical advice for studying the Bible and practical advice when it comes to the various translations. Watch the short video below; you will find that Dr. Chuck Missler's view regarding other translations to be the most reasonable.
