We are in the season of the End Times, and we are entering into a time much like the days of Noah were. There's not much denial of this. Yet, recently, there has been a lot of talk about the year 2012, mainly because of the ancient Mayan calendar.
Most Christians brush off anybody that says anything about 2012 as a wacko, conspiracy theorist. Yet, is there more to 2012 than we may think? We know that there are at least 10 dimensions, thanks to modern science, and by the way, the ancient Jewish rabbis taught this very principle, that there are 10 dimensions, based on their study of Genesis chapter 1. (Of course, man has to spend billions of dollars on accelerators to determine it the hard way, but in any case, I digress.) There is so much going on that we miss, because we only exist within 4 out of the 10 dimensions. Paul, an Apostle of our Lord Jesus Christ, said, "we see through a glass darkly" and only "know in part" (1 Corinthians 13:12). John then expounds on this further, in saying, "now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is" (1 John 3:2).
One instance that shows how much we miss as we are, fallen human beings, is 2 Kings 6:11-17. This passage records Elisha and his servant's remarkable encounter. The king of Aram was enraged over the knowledge the king of Israel was receiving. Elisha was giving the king of Israel all of Aram's battle tactics. To read more about this, read my previous Blog, entitled "Elisha's Phone Tap."
In any case, Elisha and his servant soon were surrounded by the army of Aram, and his servant began freaking out. Elisha prayed that the Lord would open his servant's eyes and the servant saw all the angelic armies around Elisha.
So, we know there's a lot going on that we cannot see, so how may 2012 fit in to the End Times? Usually, there is a thread of truth, after all, that binds ancient beliefs in cultures together.
Well, it may be surprising, but the Maya are not the only ones who speak about something significant occurring in 2012. Ancient cultures all over the world that had no contact with one another speak of the year 2012. That should at least grab out attention.
Hopi: Predict a 25yr period of purification followed by End of Fourth World and beginning of the Fifth.
Mayans: Call it the 'last period,' or great shift in thought; the start of a "New Age."
Maoris: Say that as the veils dissolve there will be a merging of the physical & spiritual worlds.
Zulu: Believe that the whole world will be turned upside down.
Hindus: Kali Yuga (end time of man). The Coming of Kalki & critical mass of Enlightened Ones.
Incas: Call it the 'Age of Meeting Ourselves Again'.
Aztec: Call this the Time of the Sixth Sun. A time of transformation. Creation of new race.
Dogon: Say that the spaceship of the visitors, the Nommo, will return in the form of a blue star
Pueblo: Acknowledge it'll be the emergence into the Fifth World
Cherokee: Their ancient calendar restarts exactly at December 21, 2012 as does the Mayan calendar. Believed to be the start of a "New Age."
Tibetan: Kala chakra teachings are prophesies left by Buddha predicting the "Coming of the Golden Age."
Egypt: According to the Great Pyramid (stone calendar), the present time cycle ends in year 2012 AD., and a "New Age" begins.
Notice some key similarities, beside the year. They all speak of a dramatic paradigm shift in 2012. A complete change of thought about who man is, and his ultimate destiny. The Maoris speak of it as a time when the physical and spiritual worlds will merge together, the Zulu say the whole world will be turned upside down, the Hindus speak about the coming of what they call "Kalki" and "Enlightened Ones." They all seem to speak of the "coming" of something, and the Aztecs even believe there will be a "creation of a new race."
I believe that we can piece these similarities together, but we need to look through the lens of Scripture, through the Word of God, to do so. There will be, in the End Times, a return to fallen angels producing Nephilim, simply based on Genesis 3:15, Genesis 6, Daniel 2:43, and Jesus's statement regarding His return in Matthew 24, which says, "As it were in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man." Many try to allegorize Jesus's statement by saying, "well, He just meant it would be business as usual," but the point still remains that He did say that times would be like the days of Noah. It would be foolish to not even take a look at what the days of Noah were like. Please visit our UFOs and Aliens page to look into more information, and listen to my Radio Show on this subject.
