"Communists must always consider that of all the arts the motion picture is the most important." --Vladimir Lenin
It seems that as we progress through these end times and as the Great Tribulation draws nigh, we are seeing a large amount of movies that have to do with witches, vampires, and aliens, such as the Harry Potter books/movies, Knowing, Avatar, and Clash of the Titans; the History Channel has also spent millions in propagating the "Ancient Astronaut" Theory on its running series Ancient Aliens. You may say, "It's just entertainment, not Satanic, it's no big deal." Well, think about the above quote by one of the most evil men to walk this earth; he certainly felt like the motion picture was very important in accomplishing his schemes. And, it is important, as it creates a certain level of indoctrination, whether good or evil.
There's an old saying, which says, "A thought reaps an action, an action reaps a habit, a habit reaps a character, and a character reaps a destiny." This is very true and echoed by the apostle Peter in his first epistle, saying:
"Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ" (1 Peter 1:13).
Every part of our character, who we are, started out in our minds as a simple thought. Scary, but true, as if that thought is not dealt with properly, we will eventually act on it and the more we do it, it will soon become a habit. If we continue to ignore it, it will modify our character and how people see us, and soon it will work it's way into the essence of who we are, our destiny: past, present, and future, it will be us.
Because of this, Peter admonishes to "prepare your minds for action." In the King James Version, he says to "gird up the loins of your mind." Basically, Peter is saying to cinch up your pants and get yourself in order and stand up for Yeshua HaMashiach.
We're in a war and our "battle is not against flesh and blood" (Ephesians 6:12), but rather against Satan and his fallen spirit-men. There is no time to lolly-gag around while the masses are indoctrinated to accept the great deception when it arrives. We are the Church, indwelled by the Holy Spirit as the one restraining force against the forces of darkness (2 Thessalonians 2:7), and when we are taken out of the way, all hell will break loose in times similar to the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37).
Our Lord was a great Man, who said many great things, and did many great things; healing the sick, casting our demons, etc. Yet, He was still one man working alone; now, through His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension, the same Spirit that indwelled Christ now indwells each and every believer. On the day of Pentecost, there went from One Man to 3000 people and thousands upon thousands have since come to know Him. The Church is a special and select group of individuals living in this Age of Grace and we are all blessed to be a part of it. We indeed are the Restrainer, for had the forces of darkness known about this wondrous mystery, "they would not have crucified the Lord of glory" (1 Corinthians 2:7-9); they would rather Christ still be walking on the earth today instead of facing what His sacrifice produced.
However, when we are taken out of the way (e.g. the harpazo; rapture), all holds will be off and things will really get "weird." What was once the world of science-fiction will become reality and when these strange entities reappear (i.e. the Greek/Roman gods; modern "aliens"), cast from heaven and free those bound in the bottomless pit (i.e. Tartarus), people will half be expecting them. They will be welcomed with open arms as our creators; there will be a certain element of surprise, but they will be readily accepted as benevolent as will the disclosure of their hybridization program. And this is a result of the movie industry's mind games on the masses; the global elitists have created a hunger in people for witches, vampires, and aliens and the movie industry sees that hunger and continues feeding it.
Christians need to be much more culturally relevant and start taking these ideas and thoughts in the movie industry "captive to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5). The satanic elite are indoctrinating the world, who has no paradigm for the supernatural due to Darwinism and Evolution, to accept these beings as benevolent, and the world is swallowing this lie hook, line, and sinker. So many Christians just go to Church on Sundays and Wednesdays while the rest of the week doing nothing to combat the advances of the darkness in the media. Alex Kendrick, the director of Flywheel, Facing the Giants, and Fireproof stated that he started making movies because:
"I found a (Barna Group) survey that basically said the top three most influential factors in our culture were movies, television, and the Internet. The church wasn't even in the top ten."
According to a 2009 Nielson Report, the average American watches more than 4 hours of television each day (e.g. 2 months of non-stop TV). That means in a 65-year life-span, a person will have spent 9-years in front of a television. And that is just TV, that does not count the time people spend watching video on YouTube or other video-sharing websites, neither does it include what people watch on their iPads or iPhones. Assuming these same Americans went to church for an hour and a half service (though we know they most likely are not), they would have spent 72 hours per year getting the Word of God vs. 1344 hours per year getting whatever.
There is no doubt that media has a tremendous impact on this generation and really can change how people act and view the world, especially when taken into account that only six corporations own everything that we see, hear, and read. The reason that the world has turned out the way it has, being pushed into a Socialistic New World Order, is because the worldview of the six individuals owning the media is what is being pushed out to the masses everyday.
We are all familiar with Christ's statement in Matthew 9:37 and Luke 10:2, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few..." The question is, where are the harvest fields? George Lucas said in 1981:
"The influence of the Church, which used to be all-powerful, has been usurped by film."
The Church needs to desperately wake-up to this fact and go to the world with the answers they are so desperately seeking (1 Peter 3:15), and where is the world? Apparently, glued to their television sets and computers, and filling the parking lots of movie theaters. However, in doing this, the Church needs to be very careful not to be "preachy" in using a lot of "Christianese," as people do not go to the movies to be preached to; rather, they go to be entertained. Christian movies like "Facing the Giants" and "Fireproof" do well as they deal with issues that everyone can relate to, yet others like "The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry" are hardly taken notice of, especially when the others on the marquee when it was released included "Star Trek," "Transformers," "Surrogates," and "Gamer."
Movies like "The Chronicles of Narnia" and the "Book of Eli" were each made for secular audiences with Biblical allusions, and they each did very well. Never once do they say, "The Bible says, the Bible says," which is the essence of "Secrets of Jonathan Sperry."
The problem with movies like Fireproof is that nearly all the money ($34 million) went back into the secular movie industry, to Sony and the distributors. Less than a million went to Sherwood Baptist Church. The secular movie industry merely see Christians as big dollar signs, saying, "Thank you very much, now we can take your money and make more movies with our worldview." Scripture says "the wealth of sinners is stored up for the righteous" (Proverbs 13:22), but the righteous seem to be giving all their money to the wicked, who are fueling a coming great deception, which will lead the masses away from the Truth into damnation.
The Church needs to harness the media and use it as a bridge to walk our unsaved friends to the gospel; to warn them the true nature of these beings when they appear. The world is being shown movies like "Avatar" and "Clash of the Titans," as well as others, depicting super-human hybrids saving the world, conditioning the masses to be okay with Transhumanism and the hybridization program. Other books and movies are coming out like "Twilight," "True Blood," "Angels and Demons," and the infamous "Harry Potter" series, feeding a world hungry for the Supernatural with their own Luciferean views, masked in the guise of entertainment, and the Church is not providing the world with adequate answers to the Supernatural.
Satan is doing a better job telling his message to the world than the Church is; he's captured the imaginations of many children through the Harry Potter books; he has created a resurgence in Mother Earth worship through the many movies like Avatar; and he is preparing the world to accept his gospel, the Alien Gospel, and embrace his Nephilim through movies like Knowing and the Twilight books. According to a recent study by the Southern Baptist Convention, children's ministry is the most important aspect of the Church because children who are raised in Christian homes and accept Christ early-on may fall away during their teen years but most of the time will come back into fellowship later on. However, once past a certain age without being exposed to Church, one's chances of coming to know Christ drop dramatically. Children can simply understand and have a more open-mind pertaining to the Supernatural than adults; no wonder Christ said, "except ye become as little children" (Matthew 18:3).
Satan understands this and the same thing pertains to the Pagan/Luciferean side of the Supernatural. He is exposing the world to the Supernatural in a variety of ways for each age group, and is doing so to make them believe in the Supernatural without God, which was seen by C.S. Lewis when he had Screwtape tell his Demon-Friend:
“If we can ever get people to accept the idea of the Supernatural without God as some sort of amorphous good thing, then we’ve won the battle.”
Film producers like Rob Skiba II are taking these thoughts of the world captive to the obedience of Christ in the production of his film "The Protean Field" and his upcoming science-fiction series "SEED." This series warns the world of the times we are living in and the coming great deception without being overtly Christian and preachy. Support his project, tell your unsaved friends about the show, and bring them to a saving knowledge of our Lord Yeshua HaMashiach.
